Do I need to be a developer?
You need to be comfortable following a setup checklist and creating a couple of accounts. The deploy docs walk you through Convex, Vercel, and Stripe step by step. If you have ever set up a website or a Zapier stack, you can do this. If you get stuck, you are not on your own.
What does it cost to run?
Your own hosting, which for most communities starts in free tiers and grows with usage. You bring your own Stripe for payments and add keys for live video and email if you use those features. There is no Seedly fee on any of it.
Do I get updates?
Yes. Releases ship with a plain-English changelog and you merge what you want on your own schedule. You are never forced onto a new version and never locked out of an old one.
Can I run communities for clients?
Yes. The commercial license covers unlimited community sites for yourself or for clients, and you can white-label everything. What you cannot do is resell or redistribute the platform source code itself.
