The Community Platform You Buy Once

Stop renting your community.
Start owning it.

Feed, chat, courses, events, and live video. $399 once. Unlimited members. No monthly fees, ever.

Seedly Communities is a complete community platform, the kind you would otherwise rent from Skool or Circle for monthly fees plus a cut of your member payments, sold as full source code. Buy it once, deploy it on infrastructure you control, and own the room your audience lives in.

Skool Pro runs about $5,940 over five years plus a cut of your sales. This is $399, once.

Andrew Lee Jenkins, founder of Seedly

I run my own community on this exact code.

I'm Andrew. I built Seedly CRM because I was tired of renting the tools my business runs on, and Seedly Communities exists for the same reason. The room my own audience lives in runs on this exact source code, live, right now.

So this is not a product I shipped and forgot. When something needs fixing, it gets fixed, because my own members feel it before yours ever would.

Nobody can raise the rent on a room you own. That is the whole pitch.

The honest math

Rent it. Fight the algorithm. Or own it.

Skool and Circle are genuinely polished, and Facebook already has your audience. The difference is what happens when the rules change. A rented platform can raise its prices or close your account, and a free one can bury your posts. A platform you own answers to you.

In June 2025 Facebook suspended thousands of groups overnight by mistake, and admins got automated replies instead of help. Nobody can do that to a platform you own.

Compare that to renting. Skool Pro alone runs $99 a month, every month, for as long as your community exists. This pays for itself inside five months, and every month after that costs you nothing.

Yours even if Seedly disappears

You own the full source and your community runs on accounts you control, so it keeps working whether Seedly is around or not. There is no kill switch and no license server checking in. Your members stay yours.

Move in on your own timeline

Already on Skool, Circle, or Facebook? Invite your members with the built-in invite links and run both platforms side by side while people move. No countdown, and no monthly bill ticking while you migrate.

Owners community

You are not building alone.

Every owner gets into the Seedly community, where owners share setups and build and market their own add-on modules. Stuck on something, or missing a feature? There is a room full of people who own the same platform.

NET WT · FULL SOURCE · 6 DEPENDENCIES

Do I really get the full source code?

Yes. A Seedly Communities license is the complete platform source code, delivered as a download the moment you buy. Your license key arrives by email, covers 5 downloads, and stays valid for 30 days after purchase. The code is yours to keep, modify, and extend freely, and a commercial license is included.

How is this $399 once when Skool charges monthly?

Because you are buying software, not renting a seat on someone else's platform. Skool's Pro plan runs $99 a month, its cheaper tier takes 10 percent of every member payment, and Circle and Mighty Networks price the same way, with monthly fees, transaction cuts, or both, for as long as your community exists. Seedly Communities is $399 one time for the full source code. After that, your only ongoing cost is your own hosting, and none of it scales with your member count or revenue.

Is it really unlimited members?

Yes. There are no per-member, per-seat, or per-admin fees, because there is no platform sitting between you and your members to bill you. You deploy the source code on infrastructure you control, so the only thing that grows with your community is your own hosting bill.

What do I need to run it?

Three accounts and an afternoon. The platform runs on Convex for the backend and Vercel for the app, and you connect your own Stripe for member payments. You get step-by-step deploy docs written for a first-timer, and if you can follow a checklist you can get your community live. It is a platform you operate, not a hosted service, and that is exactly why nobody can raise the rent on you. If you are not sure whether your setup is a fit, email [email protected] before you buy and we will tell you straight.

Where does my community actually live?

On accounts you control. The app deploys to Vercel and the data lives in Convex, both under your own logins, and member payments go straight to your own Stripe account. Seedly never sits between you and your members or your money. We say source you own, deployed on infrastructure you control, because that is the truthful version. You are not renting a seat on our servers. There are no Seedly servers.

What third-party accounts do I need?

Stripe for member payments, plus the Convex and Vercel accounts you deploy with. Live video is powered by Daily, and email goes through SendGrid or Postmark. You bring your own keys for the services you use, and you skip the ones you do not. Every key lives in your own dashboards, not ours.

Why not just keep my free Facebook Group?

Because you do not own it. In June 2025 Facebook suspended thousands of groups overnight by mistake, including a group with about a million members, and admins got automated replies instead of help. There is no member export, no email list, and the algorithm decides who sees your posts. Free is the most expensive option when the platform can delete years of work without a human in the loop.

Why not use Discourse or another open source forum? Those are free.

If you are comfortable running Docker, configuring a mail server, and rebuilding after a failed upgrade, Discourse is genuinely great. But it is a forum, not a creator platform. There are no built-in paid memberships, no courses, no gamification, and the maintenance is yours forever. Seedly Communities is the middle path. You still own and run it, but it arrives as one product with payments, courses, events, and live video already built in, and with support from the person who built it.

How do I move my members from Skool, Circle, or Facebook?

On your own schedule. Export your member emails where your current platform allows it, invite them with the built-in invite links and email invites, and run both platforms side by side while people move. There is no per-member fee and no monthly clock, so a gradual migration costs you nothing extra. Most hosted platforms will not let you take your posts and course content with you, which is one more reason to stop building on rented land.

Is there a mobile app?

The whole platform is built mobile-first and works in any phone browser with a dedicated mobile navigation. The source also includes iOS and Android app shells you can configure and publish under your own brand, and push notifications work through those shells. So yes, your members can end up with a community app on their home screen that carries your name, not ours. Publishing to the app stores takes some setup on your side, so treat the shells as included groundwork rather than a one-click app.

Can I run it under my own brand, or for a client?

Yes. Branding is built in. Upload your logo and favicon, set your palette and typography with the design token editor, and serve the whole community from your own custom domain. Even the transactional emails match your palette. The commercial license covers running it for your own business or launching a branded community for a client.

Can I charge my members?

Yes. Membership billing ships in the box. Subscription tiers with monthly and annual pricing, free trials, coupon codes, and multi-currency support, all running through Stripe checkout on your own Stripe account. Your members pay you directly, and there is no platform transaction fee coming back to us.

Do I get updates after I buy?

Yes. Every release ships with a plain-English changelog, and you pull in the pieces you want on your own schedule. Nothing is forced on you and nothing changes overnight. Because you own the code, you are never stuck waiting on a vendor roadmap either.

What can I sell? Can I resell the platform itself?

You can run paid communities, charge your members whatever you want, launch branded communities for clients, and build your own add-on modules to share or sell to other Seedly owners. What you cannot do is resell or redistribute the platform source code itself, original or modified. Sell the communities and add-ons you build on it, not the code underneath.

How does it work with Seedly CRM?

The Community Platform is built with the same design language and modern stack as Seedly CRM, and is designed to run side by side with it. Both products expose REST APIs and outbound webhooks today, which can be wired together for common use cases, and formal cross-product integrations are on the roadmap. If you are buying Seedly CRM, you can add Communities to that order for $150 at checkout.

What happens to my community if Seedly goes away?

Nothing. You have the full source code and your community runs on your own accounts, so it keeps working whether Seedly is around or not. There is no license server checking in and no kill switch. Compare that with a hosted platform, where the company shutting down, banning you, or changing its pricing takes your community with it.

Do you offer refunds?

No, and here is the honest reason. Your purchase is the full platform source code, delivered straight to you. Once you have the source, there is nothing to hand back, so a money-back guarantee is not something we can offer in good faith. Read the docs first, and email [email protected] with anything you are unsure about before you buy.
